Father and Son Initiative Book Club:
H.E.I. started the Father and Son Initiative (Book Club) on Monday, November 16, 2009, at Sheridan Elementary School. The book club will reach out to fathers with sons ranging from 3rd grade to 8th grade. Each age group will read books that are age appropriate. The club will meet once a month. This partnership was formed with one reason ~ to get fathers to read with their sons.

H.E.I. won 2nd place at the Orangeburg County Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament, 23rd Annual Chamber’s Cup Golf Tournament, October 14, 2009, Hillcrest Golf Course. H.E.I. was a Hole Sponsor.

The South Carolina Housing Trust Fund provides financial assistance for the development, rehabilitation, and acquisition of affordable housing for low-income and very-low-income households. As Administrator of the Housing Trust Fund, the Authority strives to maximize leveraging of federal, state and other housing assistance programs. The Trust Fund delivers funds through established partnerships with other governmental entities, qualified non-profit sponsors, and for-profit sponsors.
How the Trust Fund Works: The Trust Fund does not make funding awards directly to individual citizens, but instead works through a network of partners, including governmental and non-profit entities. These organizations apply for funding in one of the activities listed below, and then use the funds to provide affordable housing to eligible citizens.
